Automatic pit cover plates are an option that literally places an extendable floor into the Skylift’s recessed foundation. They can then move upward as the lift moves.
The plates have a capacity of 3,300 lb per side and mechanically lock into place when the Skylift is elevated. The hot-dip galvanizing process offers increased strength and durability while ensuring that the system is safe for the shop floor operator.
